St Mary's Primary School is situated on the Olympic Highway leading into Young. Catholic Education has a long and proud history in Young, providing quality education. Our Mission Statement and School Prayer follow the example of Mary, in that 'we strive for the growth of each individual through excellence in Catholic Education and in a spirit of love and service.

We provide a rich and comprehensive curriculum that creates opportunities for our students to develop confidence, self-control, responsibility for their actions and a positive attitude through experiencing success. This involves becoming self motivated learners, mastering literacy and numeracy, learning to operate effectively as team members and acquiring decision making, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Our students experience a challenging, meaningful and enjoyable curriculum and learn in a happy, safe and positive environment.
